Let’s imagine that commission wants to start a pancake cooking competition. The main task of such competition is to find out what kind of innate group can cook the best pancakes. Each group demonstrates their favorite recipe to the public. The main requirement is the pancakes with sweet cottage cheese filling.

The jury describes the pancakes and their taste:

Ethnos: all pancakes consist of natural milk, eggs, fresh vegetable oil, flour. They cook it on a pan coated with lots of fat. They fill the pancakes with sweet cottage cheese, raisin, sugar with proportion of 70/30. Pancakes are covered with thick sour cream layer. Their pancakes have lush appearance and fat consistency.

Virtue: nothing special here in their cooking competition. Usual pancakes with sweet cottage cheese as stated in the rules. Such people demonstrate the naturalness of their pancakes with no additives and no pathos. Here is their recipe: milk, egg, flour. They use cottage cheese with sugar as a filling. So that is why their pancakes are standard. They also like to eat it with honey.

Marxist: they use vanilla, sugar, cottage cheese, egg, sour cream and flour. They use a lot of sugar. This is how they make ruddy pancakes with a nice smell of vanilla. The main feature of such pancakes is that they are so sweet like a pie. They prefer to drink milk while eating their pancakes.

Pharaoh: they like pancakes, but they don’t eat it often. When they noticed the competition they immediately start to cook. They share their recipe: water and milk, egg, flour. After that they cook it from both sides. But they didn’t put a cottage cheese, because usually they have no appetite for it. They prefer to put some jam or berries instead with sugar. Mint tea will be also a good option for them together with pancakes.

Cognitive: during the competition they turn on their maximum imagination in order to win. Their recipe is: flour, egg, water, yeast, baking powder… and lots of other food and flavor additives. As the result their pancakes look very big with amazing lush consistency. In such way they surprise the audience not only with the amazing look of their pancake but also with poured whipped cream and cherries on top, as if they were preparing a wedding cake.

Patron: pancakes? We don’t want to cook it. These people would rather spend their free time at the library reading a new book. The commission persuaded them to prepare the food. And in the result their pancakes have stingy composition and look. Ingredients are: water, flour and vegetable oil. They fill a pancake with cottage cheese only 30%. Not the best food on the table but you can eat it.

Pilgrim: these guys already knew about the competition and they took ready-made pancakes with them. They “forgot” to fill in the pancakes with cottage cheese, only because they are lazy to do it. They prefer to put additionally some fresh and dried fruits on a table, nuts and everything that mother nature gives us all. The recipe of Pilgrims is unknown, because this is a secret. But it tastes like a pancake. The commission slightly try the pancakes but have a hidden fear of being poisoned. But nothing bad happens this time.

Toastmaster: there is no pancakes on a table. And don’t even ask! There is only a curd mass with mixed cottage cheese, sugar and sour cream. Why? This is because usually they have lots of children who demand constant attention. So they don’t have time to cook pancakes for other people. Also they brought some cheese sandwich, cereals and jam. Bon appetite!

The competition is over and the jury preferred the pancakes of Cognitive

They won and took the first place in cooking competition. The second place was awarded to Ethnos due to their village generous taste and stuffing. Third place took the Marxist with their vanilla pancakes. By the way, the smell of vanilla was everywhere at the room where the competition held even the next day. The rest of groups were satisfied only with gifts in the form of remaining pancakes and diplomas. But at the same time everyone was satisfied.
